When a browser loads the 3BN home page, the browser retrieves the daily feature imagery directly from the A' Design Award and Competition infrastructure. The hosting infrastructure receives standard connection metadata as part of each image request, such as IP address, requested image path, request timestamp, and browser type. The privacy practices of the A' Design Award and Competition govern the handling of those requests. The featured imagery is static visual content. The daily features section neither receives input from interaction with the 3BN calculators nor associates a visit with any third-party identity system.

3BN loads stylesheets, fonts, scripts, and icon libraries from third-party content delivery networks. Current third-party resources include the Bootstrap framework distributed by jsDelivr.
